Dream State

Not that you need another opinion once Oprah has spoken, but I'm getting in line to sing Dream State's praises. This epic novel about friendship, romantic love, and betrayal has one of my favorite scenes that made me laugh out loud (hint: it happens in a bookstore). This book gave me the will to live as I had my first brush with norovirus last week—Noro, I don't recommend; Dream State, all day long.

Each character zips off the page and burrows into your head and heart. A sweeping saga set in Salish, Montana, that you must not miss!
