Queen of Versailles
Following the rags-to-riches success story of David and Jackie Siegel, Queen of Versailles represents the inherent flaws of the American Dream. As the Seigels are building their 90,000 square foot dream home in Florida, which was to be the largest single- family home in America, the market comes crashing down and they are forced to make tough decisions. Equal parts sad, funny and appalling, the documentary shows the Seigels as often likable, but irresponsible, humans caught up in a cycle of wretched excess. - Summer
