Same As It Ever Was
The NYT-bestselling author of one of my favorite books, The Most Fun We Ever Had, will release her subsequent work on June 18th. Same As It Ever Was is ultimately a look at one woman's life and what it takes to sustain a marriage and family. When I read the last page of this book (no small feat at 494 pages), I felt I had made the journey myself, but a worthy one it was. The characters are complicated, full of surprises, and fully alive on the page. For lovers of character-driven fiction, you can disappear completely into this one. It has your name on it!
