I came across this gem at a little bookshop in London, and it kept me as happy as a clam on the plane ride home. I will now join the legions of Anne Tyler devotees and echo that she is one of our very best writers. Three Days in June is perfect to devour in an afternoon and is the most delightful, funny, and entertaining tale of marriage and love I can ever remember reading. I promised it to my neighbor, whom I love, and I can assure you she suffers no fools, so the bar is high, and I would only give her the best!
