Downton Abbey – Season 1 & 2

I’ve been completely obsessed by this gorgeous British period drama since the first episode! The series has everything a costume drama needs: a stellar cast headed by the indomitable Dame Maggie Smith as the Dowager Countess (who steals every scene she’s in), beautiful costumes and scenery and plotlines concerning love, betrayal and the events of the era.
