A dear friend and beloved old roommate introduced me to the world of David Chang in NYC in the early 2000s. Chang is the rebel chef who opened Momofuku with many more standouts to follow as well as hosting his own Netflix show, 'Ugly Delicious.' His memoir is a peek into the enormous risks he took to get where he is, as well into the mind of a minority, troubled soul and outsider.
