Farm From Home

This book was a pure delight! It allowed me to vicariously live out every dream of living on a farm I've ever had, month by month. Here, Amanda Brooks reveals what it was like to leave her crazy Manhattan life to live on her husband's family farm in England, and she does it all with effortless style. I've been following Brooks's blog for some time, and was delighted when she compiled all her beautiful images and words into a cohesive and enjoyable book. As a newly revived horseback rider myself, I especially enjoyed all her talk about what equestrian life is like in the UK. This is a book I cherish now, and I'm sure I will for years to come.
