Go Set A Watchman
It's finally here! Nearly 60 years after it was written, Harper Lee's first book has reached the public after its long and much debated journey to publication. With her elegant southern prose Harper Lee sets us squarely back in the Old South, and you know from the first page it couldn't be anyone but her telling the story. Returning to Maycomb, Alabama, with Scout 20 years after we fell in love with her in 'To Kill A Mockingbird' is a thrill and an honor. An honest story of a late bloomer's awakening in such complicated and uncertain times. A story with such power and importance had me applauding and being moved to tears simultaneously.
