I don't need to persuade you to read one of the most heralded authors of the 21st Century. But it's my pleasure to do just that as there are some wonderful, never before published short stories and all new-to-me in this collection. I loved her musings on Martha Stewart, Ernest Hemmingway, her love of California, and the formidable experience of being rejected by her first college choice, Stanford. It is an honor to wander in the words of the great Joan Didion!
