New Kid

This is Bea Anderson taking over for another Summer Says report. I will be talking about a fantastic, humorous, graphic novel called New Kid. New Kid is about a twelve-year-old boy of color who is going to a huge new private school. In New Kid, you get the perspective of Jordan and his friends, parents, and teachers from their conversations. I love 'New Kid' because it is funny but also serious at the same time. If you like New Kid, you might also want to read 'Wonder' by R.J Palacio, 'Roll With It' by Jamie Sumner, or 'Harry Potter' by J.K Rowling.
