Since We Fell
I don’t usually dabble in psychological thrillers, but this one is worth it in the spirit of summertime fun! Lehane follows Rachel Childs, an ex-journalist who has a mental breakdown on-air while reporting from Haiti. Soon after that, her marriage goes down the tube and her hunt for the father she never knew wraps up, although anticlimactically. The roller coaster doesn’t even begin until she reconnects with the private investigator she used when she began the search for her father, and this is where things get interesting. All I can say is hold on to your hat! The last quarter of this book is one wild ride.
