The Descendants

The ever-amazing George Clooney plays Matt King, a real estate attorney in Hawaii whose wife is in a coma from a boating accident. Matt attempts to connect with his two willful young daughters, who he hasn’t had much time for. But when Matt finds out his wife had a devastating secret, he and his daughters embark on a quest of sorts, one that is by turns tragic and funny. An understated character study that is quietly powerful and completely unforgettable.
