The Saturday Night Ghost Club

I was initially attracted to this title and this lively cover, and what I found inside did not disappoint. I love to dip back into childhood, so I'm a sucker for most coming of age stories. This book takes you back to the thrill of riding your bike all over town, staying out too late, and (in this story) tracking down and investigating clandestine ghost stories in 1980s Niagra Falls. Jake Baker spends the majority of his free time with his Uncle C, owner of an occult store. One summer, a pair of siblings moves to town and they form the Saturday Night Ghost Club. The secret that lies behind the club's missions is eventually revealed, and Jake finds he'll have to grow up a little faster than he expected.
