Unsettled Ground

This book was quite a journey, and one that you must go on! Set in the bucolic English countryside, you find twins Jeanie and Julius living with their mother. This wouldn’t be notable except that they are 51 years old. Their rented cottage is filled with music, their garden with vegetables, and life is going along as it has for over five decades—until their mother dies. At this point, things start to unravel, and fast. Stories they have built their lives around are no longer checking out, and the siblings must scramble to get ahead of the disasters that are detonating at a record pace.
