Ring the alarm! I believe this book is one of my all-time favorites, and I can't wait to buy a copy for all my best girls. Writers and Lovers' follows a young woman who has landed in Cambridge, Massachusetts, waiting tables and trying to finish a book she has been writing for years after being blindsided by the sudden death of her mother, a writers residency squandered by a love affair and on her knees after both ended abruptly. Lily King's imagination layers on so many incredible pieces of backstory making her characters irresistible and indelible. This book captured my heart, and I will be hawking it for months to come!
